Student Opportunities are available on a regular basis in any of the projects described in research. These opportunities can range from simply gaining laboratory experiences in paleolimnological and contemporary ecological methods to designing novel research projects involving lakes or science pedagogy.  I also have opportunities for secondary science teaching majors to gain teaching and outreach experiences. Most students participate in the College of Letters and Science Research Symposium in the spring. There are limited summer paid positions available. Please email me at if you are interested or stop by my office, 445 TNR.
